Windermere Dentist Focuses on Patient-Centered Care
There are many reasons to smile in Southwest Orlando, and patients of Dr. Ximena Aldea at Windermere Center for Dentistry are not afraid to show their pearly whites. Celebrating its 10th anniversary of joining the community, the only dental office in Windermere proper has seen its community grow by quite a lot. And though it’s a small office, it has had a big impact.
“Smiles have gotten a lot brighter since we opened in 2006,” said Office Manager Rebecca Brown. “We’ve grown so much since then. We’ve seen our community grow so much too. Patients who came to us when we first opened now have their whole families coming here.”
Dr. Ximena Aldea provides patients a tranquil dental experience at Windermere Center for Dentistry.
Windermere Center for Dentistry provides general and preventative care for the entire family. A trusted team of experienced professionals led by Dr. Aldea focuses on patient comfort and personalized care.
In addition to offering patients financing options powered by CareCredit, the center takes most PPO plans and caters to most insurance providers. Patients also receive estimated costs with their treatment plans.
“I take great pride in getting to know my patients and establishing rapport,” Dr. Aldea said. “I like for them to get to know me as well, so we can establish trust. Trust is something very important to me, and I take that extra time to make sure every patient feels at ease.”
Dr. Aldea received her dental education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Up-to-date on the cutting edge of dental technology, her office aims to achieve the perfect balance of high-quality dental care in a comfortable, soothing environment. Patients sink into supple leather treatment chairs and enjoy soft blankets, pillows and TVs during their dental procedures.
The center’s menu of services for general and preventative dentistry ranges from routine cleanings and X-rays to fillings, crowns, implants and Invisalign invisible braces. In-office whitening treatment brightens smiles dramatically in less than an hour, and take-home products and comfortable, custom mouth trays are also available for whitening at home.
The only dentist at the center, Dr. Aldea spends one-on-one time with each patient to develop a comprehensive treatment plan based on his or her individual needs.
Testimonials say it is her gentle demeanor and attentive listening skills that calm patients, no matter their fears or phobias. Others say it is the local anesthesia or oral sedative offered to patients to calm and soothe them prior to their procedures. But Dr. Aldea says it all comes down to her philosophy of focusing on the patient as a whole.
“I don’t look at them as just their teeth,” she said. “I look at the whole being. When I get to know my patients and learn what their priorities are, I can design a dental plan that fits them.”
Aside from Dr. Aldea and Brown, Windermere Center for Dentistry’s team includes Bibiana and Tricia, registered dental hygienists; Judith, receptionist; and Nicole, dental assistant.
“Very rarely do we have wait times,” Brown said. “Our efficient scheduling keeps the process flowing without rushing.”
Dr. Aldea and her team are proud to have spent the past 10 years focused on patient care and personalized service, and look forward to another decade of the same.
