Axel W. Anderson III, M.D., F.A.C.P., is the medical director for Pain Care First, a clinic that specializes in noninvasive pain management. He graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo and is board-certified in internal medicine and hematology.
During his time at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Dr. Anderson served as chief of internal medicine, chief of hematology, chief of staff and chairman of the oncology committee. He was a member of the board of directors for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and served on the advisory board for Hospice of Central Florida.
Dr. Anderson has studied the applied anatomy, physiology and pharmacology of pain; the treatment of pain syndromes; and the clinical applied pharmacology of pain stress. His extensive experience in the treatment of cancer patients makes him uniquely qualified to care for those with chronic and acute pain.

Hailing from New Jersey, Daniel Frohwein, M.D., joined the team at Orlando Orthopaedic Center after more than a decade of service to the Central Florida community, providing anesthesia and pain medicine care. Dr. Frohwein completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
He received his Doctor of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, where he completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved fellowship in pain medicine.
Dr. Frohwein is board-certified in anesthesiology and has The American Board of Anesthesiology’s certification in pain management. He also is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.
He is an active member and instructor for the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Frohwein’s interests include precision spinal injection procedures to accurately diagnose and treat sources of spinal pain, interventional pain management, conservative spinal care and multidisciplinary pain management.

Carlos Jassir, M.D., D.A.A.P.M., P.A., board-certified in pain management, is the director of the Pain Management Center of West Orange. He specializes in chronic pain disorders and contemporary medicine. Dr. Jassir completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in obstetric anesthesia at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y. He also completed a residency in anesthesia at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

Jose A. Torres, M.D., P.A., is board-certified in anesthesia and pain management by The American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1993 and completed an anesthesiology residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans and pain-management fellowship at The State University of New York at Brooklyn, Kings County Hospital.
