Hats & Heroes Ball for Kids Beating Cancer

Kids Beating Cancer held its annual Hats & Heroes Ball with a debonair twist. The theme of the evening was “007 — Shaken Not Stirred.” Entertainment was provided by Michael Andrew and his orchestra with special guest artists Michelle Knight and LaRue Howard, who performed Bond-movie theme songs. The evening included a VIP cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment and a silent auction. Children who are waiting for or have received a bone marrow or cellular therapy transplant were honored during the event, as was Raymund Woo, M.D., medical director for pediatric orthopedics at Florida Hospital for Children. Dr. Woo was named Healing Hero of Excellence in Pediatric Medicine. Event proceeds benefited the Kids Beating Cancer Pediatric Transplant Center. 💓
