Winter Garden

During the 2020-21 academic year, Mariam Saied of Winter Garden was elected to serve on the Hamilton College Student Assembly as a representative of the Class of 2023. The assembly is a duly-elected representative organization that works on behalf of the undergraduate student population. As such, it acts with the ability to work and communicate with faculty members, staff, university administration and other affiliated groups. The assembly works to promote three goals — to actively promote undergraduate student interests, provide student organizational support, and to promote the experience of handling leadership. Every year, HCSA works on issues ranging from campus improvements to college issues, as well as recognizing and funding more than 100 student organizations. Mariam, a rising sophomore, is a graduate of Windermere High School.
