Columbus Center Dance Academy

Columbus Center Dance Academy offers after-school enrichment programs with dance classes and exciting performing opportunities, as well as provides transportation from local schools. Dancers from age 3-professionals take classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, salsa and gymnastics in specially designed facilities with experienced, professional teachers. In addition to the annual Christmas show and June recital, there are other performance opportunities where dancers can have fun while showcasing skills learned in class. Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance

Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance, located at 116 W. Sixth Ave. in Windermere, is now registering for its 31st dance season. Under the artistic direction of Elizabeth Parsons, the school offers dance instruction for all ages in classical ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acro and hiphop. Classes are limited and begin Aug. 29. FantasyLand Theatrical Productions

FantasyLand Theatrical Productions at the Pointe Performing Arts Center at Pointe Orlando is a live theater venue offering off-Broadway entertainment, including the award-winning Steel Magnolias, Rent and Driving Miss Daisy; as well as featured events, including Anne Nelson’s tribute to the firefighters of Sept. 11, 2001, titled The Guys; and a Saturday theater for young audiences, with shows such as Sideways Stories from the Wayside School. Garden Theatre

Located in the heart of historic downtown Winter Garden at 160 W. Plant St., the Garden Theatre is a not-for-profit community organization committed to enriching, engaging and entertaining through creative experiences. The theater, which reopened in 2008, showcases a theater atmosphere in a Mediterranean Revivalstyle venue. In the Limelight

In The Limelight, which will open a new permanent location this fall in Suite 104 at 5555 S. Kirkman Road in Orlando, is a theatrical production company and performing arts school for youth. Its mission is to enrich the lives of young people by addressing their unique needs through formal education in the performing arts and productions of the highest quality. The new facility offers a state-of-theart dance studio and 100-seat theater. Classes for ages 3-18 start in the fall and include acting, dance, voice, playwriting, piano and guitar lessons, and preschool music and art.
