West Orange Wildcats Pop Warner cheerleader Emily Enochs and football players Jeffrey Rose and Brandon Turnage received Academic First Team All-District and -Region honors and were recognized as National First Team All-American Scholars. The Southwest residents traveled to Chicago for the Pop Warner All-American Banquet, where Rose received a top scholarship award of $5,000 from H.K. Anderson, Enochs received a $1,500 scholarship from Team Cheer/Fox Photo, and Turnage received a $1,000 scholarship from Brax Spirit Cups. |

Dr. Phillips High School water polo standout Jack Orchard was named to the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All-American second team. Orchard was named District 3 player of the year, and received all-district, -Metro and -Central Florida first team honors. He attended the U.S. Navy water polo camp and tournament and participated in the 2011 SwimOutlet.com Junior Olympics in California. Fellow DPHS teammate Ryan Staton received NISCA All- American fourth team honors. |
