Longtime Dr. Phillips residents Karl Schuberth and Karen Bodin announced the engagement of their daughter, Kate Ann, to Hunter Salmonson, son of Anthony and Charlie Salmonson of Ohio. Kate is a graduate of Palm Lake Elementary, Southwest Middle and Dr. Phillips High schools. She graduated from Florida State University in 2006, and she and Hunter are on Macy’s management team. A spring 2012 wedding is being planned. |

The conference featured entrepreneurs from Michigan and across the U.S. Matt received his master’s from Michigan State University before embarking on a successful career as a corporate human resources executive. | MetroWest Master Association officials have joined with the Orlando Police Department to co-sponsor a National Night Out, which promotes safety awareness and crime prevention. The event will be held Aug. 2 from 6-9 p.m. at MetroWest Golf Club, located at 2100 S. Hiawassee Road in Orlando. Lifetime Dr. Phillips resident Lindsey Steding received a master’s in clinical psychology from Missouri State University, where she graduated at the top of her class. Lindsey attended Palm Lake Elementary, Southwest Middle and Dr. Phillips High schools, and graduated magna cum laude from Rollins College in 2006. Next month, she will begin her doctoral studies in clinical psychology at the University of South Florida, where she will work in the Alliance and Suicide Prevention Lab. |
