ART CLASSES at The Art Room. One-week classes held Monday-Friday are offered in morning and afternoon sessions from June 13-Aug. 12. The morning session is from 10 a.m.-noon, and the afternoon session runs from 1-3 p.m. Creative topics include Lions, Leopards and Lizards; Mosaic Tables; Crazy Cats; and Island Daze. Students must have completed kindergarten, and registration is required. ART & THEATER CAMPS at Oscoela Center for the Arts are offered for children ages 7-14. Campers can have fun onstage or create beautiful artwork through the center’s two-week sessions. Children learn how to put on a show, act, sing and dance. Theater sessions are offered June 13-24 and July 25-Aug. 5, and visual arts sessions are held July 11-22 and Aug. 8-19. Learning Connections offers campers the tools they need to improve memory, attention, |
BRAIN CAMP at Learning Connections. Camp is geared toward learning while having fun. Students are provided with the tools they need to catch up or get ahead in school. The focus is on improving underlying learning skills, including memory, attention, processing, reading, writing and comprehension. Weekly spelling bees, reading challenges and “Minute To Win It” competitions are offered. The camp, which is for children ages 3-12, runs Monday-Friday from June 6-July 29 for the summer session.
