William J. Rizzo, D.M.D., provides all phases of family and cosmetic dentistry. His practice offers advanced dental technology, including digital X-rays, an intraoral camera that allows each patient to see exactly what the doctor sees, Zoom 2 whitening, porcelain veneers, and tooth-colored fillings. He now offers Invisalign, an alternative to traditional metal braces. Invisalign features clear trays that are comfortable and removable, with a typical treatment time of six to 12 months. Free Invisalign consultations are available. Dr. Rizzo also offers surgical procedures, such as wisdom-teeth extractions. In addition to local anesthesia, he offers nitrous oxide-oxygen analgesia that relaxes the patient and is a helpful tool in combating dental fears. Rupal Thakkar, D.M.D., earned a bachelor’s in biology and psychology from Syracuse University in New York before entering Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston. After receiving her doctorate in dental medicine, she entered a private practice in the Boston area. In August 2005, Dr. Thakkar relocated to Windermere. She practices at Windermere Village Dentistry. Dr. Thakkar is trained and proficient in all areas of general dentistry.
