Daysi Merino, owner of Merino Adult Family Care Home, began caring for the elderly more than 10 years ago in New York City, where she based her business on caring for residents of Creedmoor Psychiatric Center. In 2003, former New York Gov. George Pataki honored her home, saying the important services provided by Merino Adult Family Care Home make a difference in the lives of others. In 2006, Merino brought her knowledge and experience to the Windermere area.
