In New York, he completed a residency in pediatrics at the Residency Training Program in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center and Long Island College Hospital in 2002, and stayed for an additional year as chief resident. He is board-certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Cardona has been practicing at Windermere Pediatrics since 2003, and he became a partner in 2005.
