Massage Envy Dr. Phillips, located in the Phillips Crossing shopping center near Whole Foods Market, and Massage Envy Spa Winter Garden, located in the Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves, are open 90 hours a week and staffed by 35 licensed massage therapists. Massage Envy provides the same quality massage treatments found at other facilities at a lower cost, giving its customers more value for their money. Each massage is customized to meet the client’s needs. Whether it be a deep-tissue, Swedish, reflexology or sports massage, the facilities offer all types of massage for the same low price. Massage Envy now offers aromatherapy, deep-muscle therapy and hot-stone massage. Its membership-based service includes a one-hour massage session each month for $49. Since its inception in 2002, Massage Envy has opened more than 650 clinics in 42 states and was named in the top 20 of the fastest-growing franchises in 2009. The Dr. Phillips location was recently voted by readers as Best Day Spa in Southwest Orlando Bulletin’s Best of Southwest 2010 competition. In addition to massage, the Winter Garden location offers four signature facials. Massage Envy Dr. Phillips and Massage Envy Spa Winter Garden offer gift certificates and are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Anjanette Mojica, L.A.c., L.M.T., is a board-certified licensed acupuncture physician and licensed massage therapist. She holds specialized manual therapy certifications in manual lymphatic drainage and traditional Thai yoga massage. Mojica combines the art of traditional Chinese medicine, the art of Asian bodywork, and energy work into her practice to provide a balanced, healing atmosphere, where patients are able to learn self-care and achieve health, wellness and self-awareness. In 2000, Mojica traveled to Thailand to study under Master Chongkol Selthakorn of the International Training Massage Institute, where she studied the art of traditional Thai massage and reflexology. In 2006, Mojica receive a Master of Science from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, were she studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She also completed a manual lymphatic drainage certification this year with the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.

Audra N. Steding, L.M.T., has worked as a licensed massage therapist for nine years, primarily in Winter Park. While establishing a client base, she also worked at Mandara Spa at Lowe’s Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. In 2005, she completed extensive training in medical massage therapy. With the knowledge she gained about muscular dysfunctions, she accepted a job at Florida Hospital’s Pain Management Center. Her medical massage certification allows her to treat patients of car accidents and injuries; therefore, she accepts some insurance cases. Steding also has continued her education in migraines and received training in infertility, and prenatal and postnatal massage therapy. She believes that massage therapy is no longer recognized as a luxury, it is maintenance for the human body. Steding also offers reflexology and body exfoliations and wraps. She serves her clients Monday through Saturday by appointment.

She offers a variety of yoga classes, including Hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga classes, lymphatic yoga and laughter yoga, which help improve back conditions, reduce stress and strengthen the entire body. Wallace, teacher-trainer, yoga therapist and former executive board member and treasurer of the Yoga Alliance, previously held the position of yoga consultant for Orange County Public Schools from 1999 to 2003. She has taught for Florida Hospital Celebration Health and Osceola Regional Medical Center. Yogamatrix Studio offers corporate yoga packages, yoga teacher training and leader training certification in laughter yoga.
