Garden Theatre, located at 160 W. Plant St. in Winter Garden, seeks four adult females in the age range of 35 to 50s, who can sing, dance and act, for its upcoming production, The Bikinis: A New Musical Beach Party, which will run Feb. 10, 2012, through Feb. 16, 2012. An open-call audition will be held Dec. 10 from noon-6 p.m., and a callback audition (by invitation only) will be held Dec. 11 from 1-5 p.m. Applicants should be ready to perform a monologue lasting approximately one minute and 16 bars of both a ballad and up-tempo pop/rock song from the ’60s or ’70s, and be prepared to sing the entire song if asked. Performers must provide sheet music for accompanist or karaoke track CD (no mp3 players). Sides will be provided at the audition, and performers should be prepared to read sides if requested. They should bring two head shots and résumés, and know their schedule availability for the rehearsal and performance period beginning in early January 2012 through Feb. 26, 2012.
