Dr. Karlin, who is originally from New England, received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, N.C. He served residencies in general surgery at the University of Miami and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he became an instructor in plastic surgery. Dr. Karlin creates realistic solutions for his patients’ desires and continually brings to Nova Cosmetic Center the latest surgical and noninvasive procedures in anti-aging, including SlimLipo, Vaser Lipo System, miniface-lift procedures, LipoDissolve, intense pulsed-light hair removal, varicose/spider vein treatment, no-needle mesotherapy and Endermologie.

With more than 30 years of surgical nursing experience, Beth Moffett, R.N.F.A., has excelled in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery. A 1978 graduate of St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York, Moffett furthered her education as a registered nurse first assistant at Southwest Florida College, Tampa. She has extensive hands-on training experience and a vast knowledge of plastic and cosmetic procedures. Conducting and attending seminars in the field of cosmetic procedures, Moffett stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements, so she can provide her patients with the highest quality of services that best fit their particular needs. She completed her fellowship in allergy and immunology in the pediatrics department at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and completed her internal medicine residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. She has been an investigator in many clinical trials in the field of allergy, immunology and asthma. Prior to moving to Central Florida, Dr. Anderson served as an associate professor in the departments of pediatrics and internal medicine at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt. She also lectured the graduate immunology class at The University of Vermont and trained residents. Dr. Anderson plays an active community role in education about her field.

Carlos M. Jacinto, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He completed his fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
