She is board-certified in family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Ertenberg is on the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and she is licensed by the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a graduate of both Purdue University and the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Ertenberg has held various positions at St. Luke’s Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. She is one of the most recognized medical personalities in Central Florida, as she is frequently on radio and TV and in print media bringing the message of hospice to Central Florida communities.

Gary Lehman, M.D., C.M.D., graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami and completed his residency at Charleston Naval Hospital, S.C. He is board-certified in family practice, geriatrics, and hospice and palliative medicine, and is a certified medical director. Dr. Lehman also specializes in long-term care. In addition, he is a forensic medical expert; the division chief of Orlando Health’s geriatric internal medicine program; a clinical professor of Orlando Health’s internal medicine residency program; and a clinical assistant professor for the department of geriatrics at Florida State University. Dr. Lehman is also an ordained minister of the Church of the Nazarene.

Anna Maria Mercado, L.P.N., earned a licensed practical nurse degree and uses her skills in the I.V. Suite at The Center for Natural & Integrative Medicine as an infusion nurse. Her expertise is in assessing, starting and monitoring infusions prescribed for her patients. These include high-dose vitamin C for cancer recovery; mulitvitamin, mineral and Myers cocktail infusions for chronic fatigue; or any condition when the body is unable to assimilate nutrients needed for repair and recovery. Delivering nutrients directly into veins means they are available to the body for immediate use to speed the healing process.
