Aparna Hernandez, M.D., graduated with honors from medical school in India. She served one year as a research associate in transplantation medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. After finishing an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where she served as chief resident for one year, she completed a yearlong fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.
