New State-of-the-Art Expansion at Nick Hotel

Orlando area residents not only have the one-of-a-kind Nickelodeon Suites Resort right in their backyards, now they can experience Nickelodeon on an entirely new level. The resort, which is the only one of its kind in the world, recently opened a 300-person, 4,000-square-foot, multiuse party and meeting space designed for gatherings of all kinds, with all things Nick in mind.

Deemed “Studio B,” the state-of-the-art event space and outdoor terrace is perfect for much more than just fabulous birthday parties and family celebrations; it has become a premier

location for business gatherings of all types. The new venue boasts surround sound, video equipment and a catering team offering delectable culinary selections to compliment its top-notch on-site planning and event services.

Event planners and participants can have SpongeBob host their next business or association meeting; or a corporate team-building event can be centered on ninja training with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The meeting space was named Studio B to differentiate it from Studio Nick, a state-of-the-art, 180-seat theater, where the hotel presents its updated and outrageous Double Dare Live show each evening. Based on the famed physical challenge for children, this slime-filled, interactive game show combines the fast pace of its original TV counterpart with state-of-the-art technology and the newest in pop culture. Guests do not just watch Double Dare — they become part of the show. Two teams go head to head answering questions on pop culture and Nick trivia. The team that wins will experience slime on the famed Studio Nick stage.

While it’s every child’s dream, big and small, to be slimed, there is plenty to do that does not involve getting covered in green goo. This resort destination specializes in entertainment for children of all ages. Dining outlets are numerous at Nickelodeon Suites Resort, and the restaurants’ chefs and party planners make it a point to adapt menus for the needs of children who may have dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Any of the resort’s 777 suites — mostly themed two-bedroom suites — can be booked at advantageous discount rates through membership in the Florida Club for Florida residents. Members receive discounts on accommodations, food and beverages, 4-D Experience films and cabana rentals, as well as a $50 discount on the Ultimate Sliming Experience.

The 4-D Experience features films, including an underwater adventure with SpongeBob and Patrick Starfish, and stories starring Dora, Diego, Speedracer and Happy Feet.

The Themed Kid Suites are designed with Nickelodeon fans in mind and feature favorite characters on the walls. Families can request a particular character room when booking a one-, two- or three-bedroom suite.

Some of the suites have full kitchens, many face the pool, and most have kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwave ovens.
