Robert and Ronna Levy of Windermere and Arthur Heath of Orlando announced the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Heath, to Hadi Harake. Brittany is a graduate of Dr. Phillips High School and the University of Florida. Hadi and Brittany live and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and plan to return to the U.S. next year. The couple were engaged July 2012 in Venice, Italy, and a December 2012 wedding in Florida is being planned. |

During a family vacation in Tanzania, Africa, Southwest resident Warner Hazell climbed Mount Kilamanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The Eagle Scout reached the top of the Uhuru Peak, which, at 5,895 meters, is the highest summit on the dormant volcano. |

Dr. Phillips resident Elizabeth Tran was the August recipient of the You’ve Been Spotted Outstanding Community Service Award from Chick-fil-A of Sand Lake Road. Elizabeth is the founder of Teens Go Green Global, a nonprofit organization that spreads awareness about going green; and she is the hostess of the Miss Miracle Charity Pageant, which has raised more than $22,000 for Children’s Miracle Network. She also volunteers with Harbor House, Dress for Success, Hope Helps Inc., The Salvation Army and Clean the World. Each month, Chick-fil-A of Sand Lake Road honors a Southwest resident or group who has been spotted giving back to the community.
