Hemant Painter, M.D., M.B., B.S.
|
Hemant Painter, M.D., M.B., B.S., provides his personal attention to treat all age groups, instead of using a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. He is fellowship trained and board-certified in geriatrics, which helps him manage the complex health issues faced by seniors. He has been in the Dr. Phillips area for 10 years. Dr. Painter is a strong believer in maintaining the old-fashioned family doctor position and reputation. He believes patients should have a medical adviser who they can seek advice from. Spending time with his patients is the most important part of his philosophy, as well as providing economical health care for the uninsured. He was in family practice in Mumbai for 10 years before moving to the U.S. He then completed postgraduate training in pediatrics and internal medicine and received fellowship training in geriatrics. He has practiced in the U.S. since 1998. He uses a paperless electronic medical-record system that improves efficiency and maintains strict privacy.
