The Rep Youth Academy 2013 summer program is filled with weeks of theater-based fun and learning. Classes are designed for pre-K through 12th-grade students and taught by experienced faculty. iBRICK ACADEMY LEGO ROBOCAMP, 407-230-6100, www.ibrickacademy.com, uses Lego Education sets, combining simple machines, mechanical engineering, energy and robotics to create fun learning experiences. Working in pairs, “cadets” learn robotics using hands-on projects and guided curriculum. Each cadet receives a T-shirt and Lego set. Camps are coordinated and supervised by James Jones, a certified Lego Educational Academy teacher/trainer with 18 years of experience. Campers in kindergarten-eighth grade can choose from a different theme each week, including pirates, astronauts, crime scene investigators and more. SURFGUYS SURF SCHOOL, celebrating 15 years of quality service, is holding surf instruction in south Cocoa Beach and Melbourne Beach from 8-11 a.m., Monday-Thursday, for age 6-adults. Parents are welcome. Professional staff members teach students marine and ocean safety, stance, wave and board safety, and surfing fun, as well as stand-up paddle surf training.
