FLORIDA SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRA sponsors Stringmania, a two-week musically enriching program for string players who are playing at a Suzuki Book 2 level or higher. Participants are provided a challenging and fun musical experience that includes orchestra and chamber ensemble experiences, chamber group coaching, private lessons, instruction in fiddling and improvisation, and more. Stringmania runs Monday-Friday from July 18-30. A finale showcase concert will take place July 30. Stringmania’s full-day option hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and half-day option hours are 9 a.m.-noon. Full-day students must bring their own lunches. Tuition for the two-week program is $400 for full day and $300 for half day. A nonrefundable tuition deposit of $100 must accompany the application.
