For the seventh year in a row, the Clerks for a Cure team participated in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, an annual event held at Lake Eola Park to raise money and awareness to help find a cure for breast cancer. Clerks for a Cure exceeded its goal of $2,500 and raised $3,910 for this year’s event. Since 2010, the first year the clerk’s office participated in the walk, the Clerks for a Cure team has raised nearly $70,000 for cancer research.
“Almost every one of us has been touched in some way by this terrible disease,” said Clerk Tiffany Moore Russell of Southwest Orlando. “This is why the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is such as important cause.”
