David Bartek of Loews Hotels leads the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association board of directors as chairman.

Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association, incorporated in 1980, is the world’s largest regional lodging association, representing approximately 80 percent of all lodging rooms in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. CFHLA also represents more than 500 “supplier” businesses that operate within the hospitality industry in Central Florida.

CFHLA leadership is composed of a 45-member board of directors, who volunteer their time to support CFHLA’s membership and philanthropic initiatives to support the hospitality industry and Central Florida community.

CFHLA salutes the following members of the 2016 Executive Committee for their efforts in leading the CFHLA board of directors during this time of record-breaking visitation, with more than 66 million visitors to the region in 2015: Chairman David Bartek, Loews Hotels; 1st Vice President Brian Comes, Hyatt Regency Orlando; 2nd Vice Chairman Fred Sawyers, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort; Secretary Keith Wolling, B Resort & Spa; Treasurer Jetse Pottinga, Meliá Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration; Assistant Treasurer Jesse Martinez, The Alfond Inn, Historian Laura Sherman, CLC Regal Oaks; and Immediate Past Chairman Gerald Urquiola, Caribe Royale All-Suite Resort & Convention Center.💓
