During Women’s Executive Council’s 44th annual Women’s Achievement Awards event, Cornita A. Riley of Windermere was named the 2016 Central Florida Woman of the Year. Cornita serves the community as Orange County corrections chief. The awards ceremony honored outstanding women in arts, business, community services, education, government, technology, communications/media and emerging achievers. WEC also granted college scholarships to deserving women.
