Vines CoverClassical Elegance Meets Modern Ingenuity

Among the variety of options along Restaurant Row lies an exceptional fine dining favorite, Vines Grille & Wine Bar. Since its doors opened in 2003, Vines has acquired a reputation for premier dishes, upscale ambiance and one of the best wine lists in the country.
“We are a chef-driven restaurant obsessed by our passion for exceptional quality and fine dining,” said Dimitri Karabinis, owner of the Vines.

That quality can be seen from the precision of the servers to the presentation of dessert.

Not only a dinner venue, the Vines offers a daily happy hour from 4-7 p.m. With bites such as spicy lamb meatballs, oysters Rockefeller and duck quesadillas, it isn’t your typical bar fare. The featured appetizers pair with $5 cocktails and half-priced premium wines and champagne by the glass.

The Foodthe Wine, the Music

“Vines presents a menu that includes the finest prime and Wagyu steaks, fresh fish and seafood,” Karabinis said. “We focus on creating seasonally inspired dishes, highlighting the very best, freshest, local and global ingredients. Our steaks are cooked over a natural wood fire at a very high temperature, searing all the natural juices inside the meat. Our seafood is prepared simply so that the freshness and delicacy can be exemplified in each bite. Our produce is hand-selected and procured daily. We hold the highest standards with every single ingredient that goes into our dishes.”

The Vine’s wine list is an ever-evolving project. Selections are made from small boutique wineries as well as top producers from around the world, creating a variety of wines that is sure to pair exceptionally with each meal. The perfect match, regardless of the wine chosen, is with the musical atmosphere.

Each night, the sound of live jazz can be heard drifting from the establishment. The Jazz Lounge features The Tommy Bridges Jazz Band. Tommy Bridges, accompanied by Bob Farmer, Dennis Laak, Barbara Walker and other special guest performers, has treated Vines patrons to his music for 12 years. A child progeny, Bridges made his first record at the age of 14. He has played at top jazz festivals, clubs and society events, as well as for several presidents and heads of state.
