Windermere Treebute – 13th Annual

Photos by Lauren Bocken

The 13th annual Windermere Treebute, A Florida Arbor Day Celebration and Festival, took place Jan. 21 at Windermere Town Square. Families enjoyed viewing native, flowering and fruit trees, as well as an ask-the-arborist booth, food, artists, music, kids tree climb, nature education, plant sales, prize drawings and silent auction. The event is held every January, because that is the best time for planting trees in Florida. All proceeds benefitted the Windermere Tree Board Arbor Trees Fund.
